We have thoroughly enjoyed working with Dahlem Realty in our quest to find a new location for offices as well as an expanded kitchen to further our mission to lead our community to feed the hungry and conquer the cycle of need. Our current Community Kitchen is working at full capacity and has no room for growth. With the new location found by Dahlem, our kitchen will triple in size, giving us the capacity to grow Kids Cafes for children in afterschool settings, better serve the growing number of seniors suffering food insecurity, create new processes for rescuing and repurposing prepared food from caterers and restaurants, and collaborate with Catholic Charities to double the size of its job training program.

Jim Dahlem and Wes Elmore immersed themselves in Dare to Care’s mission and operations to understand our unique needs. Using their market expertise, they found the perfect location for us not just in terms of size, but also placed in a neighborhood where Dare to Care can play a role in economic revitalization. Dahlem expertly negotiated the lease with the Landlord. Dahlem’s experience as brokers with excellent market awareness and as property owners gives us a partner to handle our needs as we continue to grow to serve the community.
