Covington By The Lake Breaks Ground

Covington By The Lake is under construction! Last week the owner and investor, Joseph Waldman, came to Louisville to officially break ground on his latest investment in the market. He is starting construction on the first phase of a 264 unit apartment complex just off of Jefferson Boulevard and behind the Jefferson Mall. Dahlem is pre-leasing for a strip shopping center in front of Target with frontage along Jefferson Boulevard. Wes Elmore with Dahlem said “we have had several interested parties in the retail strip and I think that now that the apartments are coming out of the ground we will have increased activity for the retail portion of Joseph’s development.” In addition to the retail strip center there is a 3.5 acre parcel and .8 acre parcel available for lease or sale.
